Welcome to Amethyst Counseling Services
You’re used to holding it together, but lately it feels harder to keep up.
Your mind doesn’t shut off even when everything looks fine from the outside. You’re constantly thinking, anticipating, managing… and it’s exhausting.
This is where therapy shifts from just coping to actually understanding—and changing—what’s driving it.
I provide virtual therapy for women in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts who are navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and the pressure of holding everything together.
I work with women who are:
high-achieving but constantly overwhelmed
navigating fertility, family planning, or uncertainty around trying to conceive
adjusting to pregnancy, postpartum, or shifting into motherhood
showing up for everyone else but feeling unsupported
questioning who they are outside of expectations
How I Help
My approach is structured, direct, and insight-driven. We don’t just talk about what’s happening—we identify the patterns underneath it and actively work to change them.
This is active, focused work not passive conversation. The goal is not just insight, but measurable shifts in how you think, feel, and respond.
Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, improve emotional regulation, and create more sustainable ways of responding to the demands of your life.
This work is especially supportive for high-functioning women who appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally.
I am trained in EMDR therapy and certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), allowing us to go beyond coping skills and directly process the experiences driving your anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional reactivity.

Private Pay
Therapy here is intentionally designed to support depth, consistency, and meaningful results.
Without the limitations of insurance, our work can be more focused, flexible, and tailored to what you actually need not what a diagnosis or session limit allows.
Many clients choose this approach because they’re looking for deeper, more sustained change, rather than short-term symptom relief.
